About

I first registered PursuitOfHappiness.com in 1998. I really didn’t know exactly what I was going to do with it, but the essence of the Declaration of Independence concept has resonated with me virtually my whole life. I’ve had several offers to buy the domain, but my heart always told me no! Yet, it was the early 2010 offer to purchase the domain that I realized I should at least do something with it. Ironically, it was a guy in Switzerland that contacted me, and I could not fathom letting an iconic American theme serve as someone elses blog. I admit that was just a trigger, because something had been stirring in me for many months, and alas here I am typing away.

This is what I propose between you and I, let’s use PursuitOfHappiness.com as a portal where I share my adventure with you, and you allow me to inspire your own adventure… for you!

I’ll be adding more back-story details here over the coming weeks, but let me summarize what I envision PursuitOfHappiness.com to be all about:

  1. I wrote a book in 2005 that changed my life
  2. When I put that book down and moved into the next chapter of my life, I had to make some significant decisions about what I was doing, what I always dreamed of, and where I really wanted to go
  3. Chasing your dreams can be incredibly enriching, and at the same time incredibly taxing – I was blessed with both
  4. I really want to know what the Pursuit of Happiness means to us today in the modern era, and I am driven to inspire others to live up to whatever that is in your own life
  5. There is another book burning in me, and it is in this forum that I believe I can bring it into reality
  6. But it will not just be about written words, because the evolution in my career has been rich with media – video has become my primary tool – and wait til you get to see what I’ve done with it that is all about living the Pursuit of Happiness myself
  7. I want to show you what I’ve done with what I learned from the first book, and what I am learning from others about the Pursuit of Happiness
  8. Finally, by engaging in the process you can become more engaged with probably the most important concept in your life… your Pursuit of Happiness!

Let’s begin shall we…
